Fact

This is not my... Quote

Look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred-and-first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not the last blow that did it, but all that had gone before.

Food,
Magical food,
Wonderful food,
Marvellous food,
Fabulous food,
Beautiful food,
Glorious FOOOOOD

Food - a perennial favourite.

In winter it's hearty soups, Christmas puddings, red wine and cheese. Spring brings the onset of chocolate eggs and the complications of roast v salad decison making. Summer is picnics and over-indulging in houmous and, as the days start to draw nearer, it's back to the pub for pies, beer and anything accompanied by root vegetables.

But how often is it that the romantic illusion of sumptuous home cooked meals is shattered - just as you are - when you nip past the supermarket on the way home?

You could laden yourself with sack loads of fresh food and any number of jams, jellies and sauces. Or... you could save yourself a lot of time and effort and grab a ready meal and a packet of salt 'n' vinegar.

However, for the lazy, broke and those who hate struggling with shopping bags, there is an alternative.

Buying your food on-line and getting it delivered to your door.

You can buy what you want and instead of wasting time at the shops you can use it to make fantastic delicacies with which to impress your loved ones.

Food is often cited as the way to the heart. It seems reasonable to suggest that you get to their heart quicker if you cook something incredible from scratch, rather than frozen beef patties and beans.

Getting things delivered to you not only saves the arm muscles but could save some pennies too. There is a delivery charge in some cases but you have to weigh this cost up against those 'accidental' purchases. You know those delicious looking biscuits, the pomegranate you just HAD to have....

Also if you go for one of the box schemes that are all the rage you get fresh, organic, locally produced vegetables which are cheaper and healthier than their high street cousins.

So erm - there you go. Basically, on-line, you will find an array of delicious, organic and fairly traded food. Buying this will not only help producers and the environment but will also save you time and money. Oh and of course - remembering the home made dinner thing - you'll get more action too!*

*It's possible that this is a simplified summary... I am going to ignore that fact... check out all the delicious stuff in our food section... hmmm yummmy... go on... no time like the present...
